Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions provide a general outline of the services provided between NESO Journeys, An Affiliate of Departure Lounge, Inc., a Texas Corporation (the Agency) and the Client.

  • The Agency is a for-profit corporation. The Agency receives supplier paid commissions and charges travel planning fees.

  • The cost of accommodations, airfare, transportation, activities, excursions, etc. associated with client itineraries will be billed by the supplier. The Agency will not submit payment to any supplier on behalf of the Client. The Agency will quote pricing in supplier’s local currency. Pricing will not include applicable taxes and/or service fees, unless specified. Supplier pricing is not guaranteed until paid with the Client’s approval.

  • Suppliers are independent providers and do not act on behalf of the Agency, are not servants, agents, nor employees of the Agency, and are not in a joint venture or affiliates of the Agency. Sales are processed and maintained by independent providers and subject to their respective policies for cancellation and refund.

  • The Agency’s travel planning fee schedule is published online at NESOJourneys.com and is subject to change at any time. Travel planning fees are valid for parties of up to two adults, unless specified. The Agency defines an adult as any individual 16 years or older. Travel planning fees may be discounted at the discretion of the advisor. All fees are non-refundable.

  • The Agency recommends travel insurance be purchased for all itineraries within 21 days of initial payment. A quote for coverage will only be provided to the Client upon request.

  • The Agency will advise the Client of airline schedules accessed via the SABRE system and quote pricing for the most direct routing offered. Airfare is not guaranteed until ticketed with the Client’s approval.

  • The Agency will advise the Client of applicable passport and visa requirements ONLY IF the Agency is purchasing and confirming the Client’s airline tickets (US citizens only). It is the sole responsibility of the Client to ensure his/her party comply with all passport, visa, and customs regulations and other formalities (including obtaining vaccination certificates where necessary). Passports should have a minimum validity of 6 months beyond the Client’s itinerary’s end date (applicable for both adults and children). The Agency assumes no responsibility for the consequences of any failure to comply. 

  • The Agency requires a completed traveler profile and photocopies of valid passports and/or other government issued identification for each traveler before confirming any bookings.

  • The Agency will not maintain any Client PIN or passcode access information.

  • The Agency requires all employees and associates to sign confidentiality agreements and maintains a reasonable amount of cyber security on all files and internet access points.

  • The Client agrees to provide a valid credit card for payments and authorizes the Agency to make purchases on their behalf.

  • The Client agrees to review and verify the accuracy and content of all offers, proposals, itineraries, and invoices within 24 hours of receipt.

  • The Client agrees to meet supplier-imposed deadlines for approval, payment, and cancellation.

  • The Client agrees to provide the Agency with up-to-date documentation relating to travel such as Passport, Known Traveler Identification Number, Frequent Flyer Numbers, Hotel Program Numbers, etc.

  • The Client agrees to independently verify all State Department travel warnings as well as CDC-issued travel requirements and/or recommendations before, during, and after travel.

  • The Client acknowledges that the Agency does not offer 24-hour assistance. Supplemental fees may apply for after-hours assistance.

  • The Client acknowledges that travel planning fees are non-refundable.

  • The Client acknowledges that itineraries planned by the Agency cancelled at any time during the planning process may incur a cancellation fee not to exceed USD 1000.
